Follow these steps to create a Linphone account from the desktop application.
Creating an Account on Linphone Desktop
- Open the Linphone application on your computer.
- On the login page, click on Register (top right of the page).
- A tab will allow you to choose between creating an account using an email or a phone number.
- Enter your personal information: username, email or phone number, and password.
- Accept the Terms of Use and Privacy Policy.
- You can choose whether or not to subscribe to our newsletter.
- Click Register.
- A page will open in your browser asking you to complete a Captcha. Fill it out and click “I’m human”.
- A verification code has been sent to your email or phone number. Return to the application, enter the code in the input field, and click Validate.
💡 Tip: If you don’t receive the code, check your spam folder or request a new one directly from the application.
10. Your account has been successfully created! You can now log in.

- A confirmation code will be sent to the phone number you provided. Enter the received code in the designated field.

- Once the code is validated, your account is successfully created and ready to use on Linphone.
- You can now log in with your account.
