Linphone works with GrapheneOS
GrapheneOS is an open-source fork of Android designed to meet strict security and privacy requirements. Linphone, a real-time communications application integrating advanced encryption mechanisms, is compatible with this OS.
Available features
Even without Google services, the core features are fully supported:
- audio and video calls
- instant messaging
- installation via APK
Notification management
GrapheneOS does not support Google push notifications.
To ensure calls and messages are received, Linphone relies on background operation, with a persistent notification in the system bar.
Installation
Linphone is not yet available on the Accrescent Store (the native GrapheneOS app store), but installation remains straightforward.

Linphone also works on other open-source Android forks:

- /e/OS (Murena)
The application is also available on F-Droid.
