We are pleased to inform you that the replay of our conference dedicated to XCON CCMP, a protocol developed for managing open-source videoconferencing servers, is now available for viewing.

Real-time group communications involve integrating various software components to provide features such as calls, chat, and videoconferencing. Videoconferencing servers are crucial components that need to integrate into large-scale environments, managing functions such as participant management and meeting scheduling, directly linked with calendars and address books.

The Linphone team has developed an open-source videoconferencing server that adheres to RFC6503, allowing for the "creation, manipulation, and deletion of conference objects" without relying on proprietary solutions. This approach simplifies integrating conference management into larger systems.

Our presentation begins with an introduction to existing conference servers like Jitsi, Zoom, and Teams, along with their specific control APIs. We then detail an implementation by the Linphone team within the SIP Flexisip conference server, demonstrating how it can be controlled from third-party components.

This conference was presented at OW2 Con', organized by the OW2 association, which supports the promotion of open-source software and encourages collaboration within this ecosystem. We had the opportunity to attend various high-quality presentations at the event, actively participate with our conference, and engage during networking sessions.
